I came across this etsy shop, Dandelion Dream and thought I would check out their products. I am always looking for cool toddler boy t-shirts which are hard to come by. Each shirt is hand dyed and stamped making each shirt unique. I love the simple designs and more importantly the story behind this etsy shop.

Their Story:

The couple, Erin & Chris, is hoping to adopt a little girl from the Congo and give her the family that she longs for after being orphaned by the civil war there. All of the proceeds from Dandelion Dream goes towards their adoption.

Here is a shirt similar to what I purchased. I was very happy with the shirt when it arrived and glad to support the cause.

I know I am a little late on the Pinterest bandwagon but to be honest I wasn't sure how to use it at first... Now that I know how to use it - I am hooked! If you are like me and have a long, long list of bookmarks on your computer, pinterest will make your life so much easier! Pinterest is an easy way to visually bookmark different things you find online. For example, I am planning my son's 2nd birthday party and we have a toy story theme. I have been scouring the internet trying to find ideas for the party and now I can just 'pin' the things I like to my board labeled 'Jackson's birthday party'. The other cool thing is that when you want to go back to a board and see where you pinned the image from, it takes you right to the website where you pinned it.

I have been searching high and low for an inexpensive round rug for my office and they are very hard to find! I did one search for 'round rug' on pinterest and found the perfect rug! It was a rug someone else pinned on their board and took me right to the website to buy it.

I love reading blogs but I think the Google Reader takes too long to read all of the new posts on my favorite blogs. I found this free iPhone app, Mobile RSS, that I think is much easier to catch up on your reading and very user friendly.

1. Decor8 Needing home decor inspiration? This is the blog for you! I particularly like the faves section full of posts with ideas and awesome color palettes. Holly just came out with a new book that looks just as amazing as her blog.

2. SITS Girls Online support group for female bloggers. Are you in a rut with your blog? Do you want to connect with other bloggers? SITS Girls is a great online networking tool for bloggers. They also have a great challenge held twice a year called '31 Days to a Better Blog'. It looks awesome!

3. Eighteen25 DIY ideas that you can actually do it yourself. I like DIY projects but not when they lose me in step #2. Eighteen25 is full of great, easy DIY ideas along with free, adorable subway art.

3. Tip Junkie Find Tips. Share Ideas. Shop. Sounds good to me! Laurie features great DIY, holiday and gift ideas. She recently featured really cute 4th of July decorating ideas. Plus, she has a free 'Tip Junkie' app available from iTunes.

4. Mom, Inc. "How to raise your business and your family without losing your mind or your shirt". Does this sound like the book you've been searching high and low for? Well I have been and I can't wait to read it. Why haven't I read it yet, you ask? I switched to reading everything on my ipad now and I don't know if I can go back to reading a paperback book! :) Nonetheless, I like their facebook page and follow them on twitter and they post great information for all of you mompreneurs out there!

5. How Does She? How to become the mothers, wives and world class women that we want to be. This blog features great DIY ideas, crafts and mommy advice.

There are truly so many amazing blogs out there so I decided to feature 5 of my favorite blogs each month. Here are some of my favorites for this month, in no particular order. :)

1. Perfect Balance Marketing: If you are a small business owner, this is a must-read for you! Perfect Balance is a great resource when looking for marketing ideas. They also give great advice on mastering the world of social media: twitter, facebook & blogs. Sign up for their free e-book "41 Fresh Marketing Ideas".

2. Oh My! Handmade Goodness: OMHG posts great information from guest bloggers about a wide array of information surrounding handmade goods. Don't let this scare you away if you don't make handmade goods. They have great marketing ideas and feature awesome handmade products you'll want to check out!

3. Favorite Paint Colors: Okay, I'm off the business/marketing blogs and onto the ideal resource for choosing the paint colors in your house. If you are like me and have to get three test colors painted on the wall and then mull over which shade of light yellow is the right one, this blog will make your life easier!

4. Cool Mom Picks: Great blog for finding new cool things kids and moms love. They have a great newsletter that is sent weekly, I think. They also have 'Cool Tech Picks' which I love with new fun gadgets. They just featured a reasonably priced customized iPhone case using a photo you upload. Very cool!

5. I Got It in Paris: Are you a Mom trying to stay hip and cool but you don't have the time to keep up with the latest trends? Follow "I Got It in Paris" and you will be on top of the trends. You'll find great vacation outfits or party dress ideas on this blog.

Who doesn't love getting a handwritten note in the mail instead of all of those yucky bills?

April is 'National Letter Writing Month' and it inspired me to start '30 Notes in 30 Days'. Over the next thirty days, each day I will send a hand written note to various people in my life.

If you have not been exposed to Scentsy, it is the twist on traditional candles. They are flameless candles with amazing scents! My personal favorite is 'Satin Sheets'. I love the plug-in warmer and they have great, contemporary designs. I bought satin sheets in a scentsy bar which are 6 little squares. You break off a little square and place on top of the warmer.

I came across this Etsy store and love this print! The print would be great put in a frame with a dry erase marker so you can change why you love that person. How adorable!

Personalized 'kids' key fob: $20
This has been a favorite from my customers and I love it, too. This is a great gift for Moms and Grandmas. The key fobs are hand painted with a picture of your kids along with their name. You choose the hair color, hair style, background color and dot color for the key fob. You can fit up to 4 kids per key fob. Each key fob is handpainted with metallic paints on a 1.5" solid wood ball and finished with a rhinestone bead and 2 extremely thick coats of high gloss glaze. This makes it very durable! They are very durable BUT not indestructible. :)

National Stationery Show - Here we come!

To say I am excited about this trip is a complete UNDERSTATEMENT!

Anyone that loves paper goods as much as I do can relate to how awesome it is to be attending this show.

If you aren't familiar with the show, it is in NYC and all of the stationery lines unveil their new products.

Calling all Foodies!

I am a little off topic today from my usual paper related posts but I love this project and want to share it with all of you. I guess I'm not that off topic as this could be a monumental moment in those peoples lives involved in this project.

Two of my cousins, Edward and William Crouse, are embarking on a journey to interview the people growing and preparing our food in North America. They want to tell their stories in a documentary titled Between Forks & Folks. Their goal is to pitch the pilot to PBS, HBO and Showtime.

Great meeting with a bride this week!

I had a great meeting with a bride/friend this week and I was excited we found an invitation she loved. That's what it is all about, right? :)

This bride (we'll call her Sally) has the cutest story. She and her fiance (I'm sorry to spoil the ending) dated in college and went their separate ways after college. A couple years ago her fiance called my husband to see if I had Sally's number. I didn't but gave him her email address. They reconnected and are now getting married this summer. Isn't it crazy how things turn out - pretty awesome, I must say!

Hello, my name is Megan and I am addicted to blogs. Okay, that is an exaggeration but I recently have become very interested in blogs and the vast amount of amazing information out there in blogger world. My goal with this blog is to post about the fun new paper products I find, tell you about the other blogs I love and hopefully create some awesome giveaways for you all.

Right now, I am loving a new line of imprintable of goods I found. They are travel mugs, pens, note cards and note sheets. What is so great about them, you ask. Well, you can print whatever name you want on them! Let's say your kids call your Mom Geema. Imagine your mom's face when she receives a mug with 'Geema' on it.
